Choosing an entry for this week was difficult--I had some really nice shots from our trip to Potipot Island yesterday. I chose this portrait of Belle because it represents the next step I want to take in my photography. I want to learn how to light and shoot full-length, environmental portraits.
I had a little help from my best friend, JP, in the lighting department. He held the flash-umbrella rig over Belle, just outside the frame. Flash was set to full power to keep up with the ambient.

Here's another set of pics from our Coron trip. We didn't fancy sleeping early on our first night in Coron so I brought out the flashes and gels, and we had an impromptu photo shoot in the room.
Not shown: Rey sleeping soundly (even with all the ruckus) in the middle bed.
