Here's my entry for the Singapore in Pixels Contest. :)
Business, originally uploaded by arland.
Colorful Chinatown shophouses against a backdrop of cold skyscrapers.
The first time we went to Chinatown, I only had the 85mm on my 40D because I wanted a different perspective. I had nice detail shots of the storefronts and the wares, but of course I lacked shots of the whole buildings. So when I had a chance to go back, I chose the 30mm. This photo is from that second outing.

i pray that you'll win so that you'll be a Nikon-er na din. hahaha..
meron din akong ganyang shot. pero shempre mas maganda yung sayo! i was really smitten by the contrast of the old chinatown area and the modern buildings behind it.
napaisip tuloy akong sumali! haha..as if ang galing ko! :p
meron pa akong isang buwan!
Well... IF I ever do win, I can just sell the camera prize and stay a Canon-er. Pang-lens din yun. :p
Sali ka na! May advantage ka! You're in SG! Pwede ka pa bumalik sa Chinatown! Exclamation point!
Go Canon!!
